Nashville Building And Construction Trades Unions Endorse Mariah Phillips

MURFREESBORO, TN – Mariah Phillips, a public school teacher and candidate for Congress in Tennessee’s 4th District, received the endorsement of the Nashville Building and Construction Trade Unions. This follows Phillips recently earning the endorsement of the Tennessee AFL-CIO.

“Despite a low unemployment rate, Tennessee continues to have too many families living in poverty. Building Trades union apprenticeship programs are providing pathways out of poverty for people of all ages across the state. As a teacher, I know that college is not right for every child and if I am elected to congress, I will make sure students are aware of the great opportunities apprenticeships provide. It is an honor to be endorsed by the Nashville Building and Constructions Trades Unions.
